The New Dune Electronic Scale Has Broad Marketplace Appeal

(Danbury, CT  July 2008) Adam Equipment is set to release the first of three new innovative products. The Dune is an affordably priced electronic scale, equipped with many features including; AC adapter, auto-calibration through keypad, low-battery and overload indicators.

"One thing we kept hearing about was the need for a portable balance that was sturdy enough to meet the demands of the education market as well as that of scientists and field technicians using the balance in the toughest of places" said Tom Storey, Global Marketing Manager.  "The Dune series fits all of those applications with advanced overload protection preventing damage when excessive loads are placed on the pan" added Mr. Storey. Three models are in the range; 200g x 0.1g, 2000g x 1g and 5000g x 2g. The Dune series offers a removable plastic pan that's easy to clean and works on battery power or the included AC adapter.

With a MSRP of only $75.00 and set for release in the first part of August 2008, shipping soon thereafter, the Dune is available through a number of distributors with pre-orders being accepted now.
